Silkroad Agency is a Bangkok based copyright agency and was founded by Jane Vejjajiva in 1996. We represent publishers and authors worldwide. We are committed in bringing a wide spectrum of literary works to Thai readers.

As our name suggests, we link East and West bringing the literature of these two sides of the world together. We have worked with integrity and care for more than 20 years. We are proud to be the leading agency in Thailand and we continue to foster a rich literary world for all.

You pick. We track. If you pick a title and wish to license Thai language rights, come to us. We are ready to track down the rights holders and work along side with you from negotiations to contracts.
Silkroad Agency works closely with publishers and literary agencies around the world. We select titles, fiction and non-fiction, for all age groups from UK, Europe, the USA, Australia, China, Korea and Japan for our clients. We take care of selections, walk hand in hand with Thai publishers from negotiations to signing contracts.

Jane Vejjajiva was born in London. Having cerebral palsy from birth which limits her movements, she finds comfort from books which open to her an imaginary world. Her skills in languages led her to graduate with first class honours Bachelor Arts (French literature) from Thammasat University. She then furthered her studies at Translators and Interpreters School (French, English and Italian) in Brussels.
She started her career as a translator in a magazine publisher in 1988 before setting up her own company publishing and editing a magazine for children until 1995. She founded a copyright agency, Silkroad Agency, in 1996 and now divides her time between writing and working as an agent.

เราให้บริการด้านลิขสิทธิ์ 2 รูปแบบ แบบที่ 1 คือ เราเป็นตัวแทนลิขสิทธิ์ (sub-agent) ให้กับสำนักพิมพ์ (publishers) และตัวแทนนักเขียน (literary agents) ทั่วโลก เรานำเสนอลิขสิทธิ์วรรณกรรมต่างประเทศให้กับสำนักพิมพ์ไทยที่สนใจ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนวนิยาย เรื่องสั้น (fiction) และ สารคดี (non-fiction) ทั้งในการพิมพ์เป็นรูปเล่มหนังสือ (volume rights) หนังสืออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (ebook rights) อัพโหลดรายตอน (online rights) และหนังสือเสียง (audio rights)
แบบที่ 2 คือ เราให้บริการเป็นตัวกลางติดต่อเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์ (proprietors) ให้กับสำนักพิมพ์ไทยที่สนใจจัดพิมพ์ลิขสิทธิ์งานวรรณกรรมเป็นภาษาไทยในรูปเล่มหนังสือ (volume rights) หนังสืออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (ebook rights) อัพโหลดรายตอน (online rights) และหนังสือเสียง (audio rights)
SILKROAD คิดค่าบริการอย่างไร
อัตราค่าบริการด้านลิขสิทธิ์มีดังนี้ การบริการแบบที่ 1 ไม่มีค่าบริการใดๆ การบริการแบบที่ 2 อัตราค่าบริการอยู่ที่ 10%-15% ขึ้นอยู่กับเงื่อนไขการอนุญาตของเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์ โดยคิดจากค่าลิขสิทธิ์ที่สำนักพิมพ์ไทยจ่ายให้กับเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์
ติดต่อ SILKROAD ได้อย่างไร
ขอเชิญผู้สนใจติดต่อมาทางอีเมล์โดยแจ้งรายละเอียดลักษณะงานวรรณกรรมที่สนใจหรือแจ้งงานวรรณกรรมที่ต้องการจัดพิมพ์ รวมทั้งแจ้งชื่อที่อยู่และอีเมล์เพื่อการติดต่อกลับ
SILKROAD ใช้เวลาในการดำเนินการกี่วัน
เมื่อได้รับอีเมล์จากท่าน เราจะตอบกลับภายใน 48 ชั่วโมงเป็นอย่างช้า หากเป็นการบริการรูปแบบที่ 1 ขั้นตอนการเจรจาเงื่อนไขจนถึงการทำสัญญาใช้เวลาไม่เกินสองสัปดาห์ หากเป็นการบริการรูปแบบที่ 2 ระยะเวลาจะขึ้นอยู่กับการตอบกลับจากเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์ ซึ่งต่างแตกกันไป เราจะรายงานความคืบหน้าให้ท่านทราบทุก 7 วัน
